I started my doctorate degree in February 2022 and am working on the project titled “Robust Signal Processing and Machine Learning Techniques Applied to High Throughput Proteomics.“ In this project, I am working on analysing signals generated from nanopore for protein identification in collaboration with imec. In the initial phase, I worked with synthetic signals, generated from simulated model, and was able to detect events in the nanopore signals successfully applying different signal processing techniques. Recently, I have started working with real signals acquired from nanopore. We aim to denoise the signals, detect events, and identify the protein with the help of different signal processing and machine learning methods.
About me: Besides studying, I love watching movies and reading books; science fiction works, especially related to time travelling intrigues me more. Sometimes I also like playing word games and jigsaw puzzles on my smartphone. In addition, I enjoy cooking and eating food, Nepali dumpling (Momo) is my all-time favourite.
